Mallory Anderson

Mallory Anderson is the lovely and pretty wife of NFL player Derek Anderson, quarterback with the Carolina Panthers. He previously played for the Baltimore Ravens, the Arizona Cardinals and the Cleveland Browns. Derek also played college football at Oregon State.

Mallory’s NFL stud was born in Scappoose, Oregon on June 15, 1983. He was a star player at both basket and football teams at Scappoose High School.

He graduated in 2004 from Oregon State and was then drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round (213th overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft. However, he never played a single game with the Ravens. Instead he was claimed off waivers by the Cleveland Browns on September 20, 2005.

On October 22, 2006, made his NFL debut against the Denver Broncos, he left Cleveland after the 2008 season ended.

Anderson signed a two-year deal worth $7.25 million with the Arizona Cardinals on March 17, 2010. The Cardinals named him their starting QB after Matt Leinart was released and Kurt Watner retired.

Unfortunately a concussion benched him and was then replaced by rookie Max Hall. Derek was subsequently released by the Cardinals on July 28, 2011.

Three days later, he signed with the Carolina Panthers, as their backup quarterback for Cam Newton.

Mrs. Anderson was born Mallory Trtek in Scappoose, Oregon. She is one of the amazing children born to Gary and Natalie Trtek. Derek popped the question on February 22, 2013, at Del Friscos restaurant in Charlotte. Here is how the proposal went in Mallory’s own words..

My sisters and I had just arrived in Charlotte NC after driving cross country from Portland OR. Derek informed my oldest sister Rochelle before we left that he had 1 day off from training camp, and that he just wanted to propose on that day, (which only gave us 3 days to drive 3600 miles!).

My other sisters and I didn’t know why Rochelle was in such a hurry to get to Charlotte. When we arrived in Charlotte, exhausted and dirty, Derek told us he wanted to take us all out to a nice dinner to thank my sisters for driving me all the way out there.

After a much needed nap and shower we headed off to Del Friscos.

We ate like kings and then came the dessert menu. I assured Derek that I was too full to order my FAVORITE strawberry cheesecake dessert, but he insisted I get it. After a few minutes, the manager came over with a silver platter and served me my beautiful ring.

Mallory and Derek married on July 3, 2013 in Bend, Oregon. Their adorable daughter Amelia Blair was born on August 27, 2014.
