Meet Ann Walton Kroenke. She is one of the heiresses of the Walmart empire; her father Bud Walton and his brother Sam Walton founded Walmart.But Mrs. Walton Kroenke is also a sports lady.

Her husband Stan Kroenke is the owner of Kroenke Sports Enterprises, that includes the Los Angeles Rams (NFL), Denver Nuggets (NBA), Colorado Rapids (MLS), Colorado Mammoth (NLL). In addition, Mr. Kroenke is the largest shareholder of English soccer club Arsenal. His net worth was estimated at $7.4 billion while Ann’s is worth $4.8 billion.

Mrs. Kroenke’s husband was born Enos Stanley Kroenke on July 29, 1947 in Columbia, Missouri; he holds a B.A. and a M.B.A from the University of Missouri.

In the late 1960, early 70’s while on a ski trip to Aspen he met a stunning woman named Ann Walton. After a couple of years dating, they got married in 1974. Stan and Ann Kroenke have two children; son Josh, born on May 7, 1980 and Whitney Ann Kroenke, born on September 29, 1977.

Josh the owner of his father’s Colorado Sports properties as well as president of the Denver Nuggets, graduated from Rock Bridge High School and the University of Missouri.

Daughter Whitney graduated from Northwestern University, she is an actress, singer and choreographer as well as the co-founder and executive director of Playing For Change Movement.

Whitney married Birduttray Furniture’s founder Ben Burditt in 2006. They have since divorce (July, 2010).
