Former NFL quarterback Kenneth Michael “Ken” Stabler has died at age 69. Reports say Ken had been battling cancer since February, his family confirmed he died from complications related to stage four colon cancer.

Stabler, nicknamed “the snake” led the Oakland Raiders to a Super Bowl victory in 1977, he also played with the Houston Oilers and New Orleans Saints.

A native of Foley, Alabama, Stabler threw for 27,938 yards during his 15-year career in the NFL, compiling a 96-49-1 record as a starting quarterback and a win over the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl XI.

Ken was married three times: from 1968 to 1971 he was married to Isabelle Clarke , from 1974 to 1978 he was married to Debbie Fitzsimmons, from 1984 to 2002 third wife was Rose Molly Burch –a former Miss Alabama Universe.

He is survived by three daughters: Kendra, Marissa and Alexa.

45-year-old Kendra is the daughter of Ken and first wife Isabelle Clarke. She is married and is now Kendra Stabler Moyes, her husband is Scott Moyes, she and her husband have two teenage sons: Jack And Justin Moyes.

Online records say she worked as Studio Manager at True Hot Yoga and XOXO Foundation.

33-year-old Marissa Stabler was born in Alabama but is currently a Brand Manager at The Loomis Agency according to her LinkedIn. She graduated in 2011 Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts, Public Relations from the University of Alabama.

Her summary says she has the ability to develop creative initiatives that generate exposure and increase engagement. She is an authentic relationship-builder, big-picture thinker and creative problem-solver driven to make a difference through bold ideas.

Prior to her current job, she worked for Sunwest Communications, the Dallas Cowboys, Clear Channel Radio among others. Marissa is the daughter of Ken and third wife Rose Stabler,

34-year-old Alexa Stabler grew up in Alabama. She attended The University of Alabama School of Law. She has worked at Adamsip LLC, Alabama Law Review and belong to the American Bar Association. Her mom is also Rose Stabler.

According to her Facebook she lives in Mobile, Alabama and is currently engaged to Hunter Adams.
