Check out Heather Davis; formerly known as Heather Evans’ this beautiful girl is the loving wife of NFL player Austin Davis, new quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks. He also played with the Rams, Dolphins, Browns, and the Broncos. Prior to the NFL, Davis played college football at the University of Southern Mississippi.

No doubt you know about Austin’s career and life prior to his beginnings in the NFL in 2012; surely you want to meet the missus, therefore meet Heather!!

Mrs. Davis was born and raised in Mississippi; she holds a Communication Studies degree from the University of Southern Mississippi, where she was also a cheerleader. Prior to MSU, Heather attended the University of Alabama.

Proposal

She met her hubby at USM, through mutual friends in 2007, they started dating a few months after they met. Austin knew she was the girl he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, so the next step was seizing the opportunity to pop the question, make it special for her.

That day came after a basketball game at the Reed Green Coliseum on December 17, 2011.

“After my senior season of football, I knew the time had come. Heather had finished school a semester before me and she was patiently waiting for me to pop the question. I knew I wanted to do it in a way that we could remember forever, I wanted to do something special, but BIG!!.”

“So I went for it! At the USM/ Ole Miss basketball game in Reed Green Coliseum, I added another long lasting memory to our lives. After our 2011 championship team was recognized at halftime, I was handed the mic for a few last words to the fans.”

“I gave them a short salute and then approached Future Mrs. Davis on the side of the court. With my heart beating out of my chest and my hands sweating profusely I got down on one knee and asked the girl of my dreams, my best friend, to be mine forever. And in front of a few thousand Golden Eagle fans, SHE SAID YES!!!!”
